Panasonic VW-BN2 Portable DVD Burner for AVCHD Camcorders

Panasonic introduces the new VW-BN2 portable DVD writer that is designed to connect directly to your AVCHD camcorders/cameras, via USB port. Without the need of a PC, using the VW-BN2 you can burn your videos to a DVD.

When connected to a camcorder, the device is able to burn DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM at up to 6x. DVD+R/+R DL/+RW and CD-R/RW are also supported at up to 8X when it connects to a PC. The BN2 has 2MB buffer memory.

Panasonic VW-BN2 can also do DVD/CD playback and output to your HDTV/TV via a camcorder (VW-BN2<->camcorder<->HDTV). This portable DVD burner will be available on 25 December 2009.
