iBiquity introduces the Gigaware Navigation Control HD Radio Receiver accessory and the Gigaware HD Radio app, bringing HD Radio to iPhone and iPod touch with iPhone OS 3.0. The Gigaware receiver is the first device to enable iPhone and iPod touch models to tune into HD Radio broadcasts.
The Gigaware HD Radio Receiver is an in-line adapter that connects to your iPhone/iPod touch via the dock connector. It can receiver HD2 and HD3 multicast channels offering CD-like digital quality sound. The receiver is priced at $79.99.
On the other hand, the Gigaware HD Radio app offers easy-to-use UI, a manual tune wheel or auto-seek option, iTunes Tagging and social networking integration.
