PhotoFast G-Monster V4 1.8-inch IDE SSD

PhotoFast launches the G-Monster V4 1.8-inch Solid State Drive (SSD), which is available in three different versions, the G-Monster-50 IDE V4 that uses 50pin IDE interface; the G-Monster-1.8 ZIF V4 that uses ZIF interface and the G-Monster-1.8 IDE V4 that utilizes 44pin IDE.
All these 1.8-inch SSDs are based on MLC flash memory and are available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities (the first 1.8-inch SSDs in 256GB). They provide up to 128MB/s read speeds and 90MB/s write speeds. PhotoFast’s G-Monster V4 1.8-inch SSDs have 64MB cache memory and include built-in Garbage Collection function, which is to improve SSD performance by accumulating data marked for erase as “Garbage” and perform whole block erase as space reclamation in order to reuse the block.
PhotoFast’s new 1.8-inch G-Monster V4 SSDs all work with Windows 7.
