Sharkoon SATA QuickPort USB3.0 Hard Drive Dock does SuperSpeed

German company Sharkoon is going to release its SATA QuickPort USB 3.0 hard drive dock that includes a external USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface. Sharkoon’s SATA QuickPort is basically a desktop hard drive adapter that accommodates both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives allowing direct connection of a hard drive to PC.
The new QuickPort USB3.0 utilizes the faster USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface for faster transfer rate. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface.
At the same time, Sharkoon also launches a USB 3.0 Host Controller Card that adds USB 3.0 connecitivty to your PC. The controller card uses PCI-e 1X bus and offers two USB 3.0 ports.
