ArcherMind Android-based Car Navigation System

ArcherMind, a Chinese software company, showed at the Embedded Technology 2009 in Japan the world’s first Android-based car navigation system. ArcherMind’s system is equipped with Marvell’s ARM processor and a mobile phone platform. It has a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen display and supports Bluetooth, WiFi and even WCDMA 3G connectivity. Internet and multimedia functions are also available.

Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is the standard generic term for satellite navigation systems that provide autonomous geo-spatial positioning with global coverage.
