OKI Develops First 1.1-inch QVGA LED Display

OKI announced it has successfully developed a 1.1 inch QVGA LED display that consumes just one-tenth of the power used by conventional LCDs. OKI’s display utilizes the a new technology based on the company’s Epi Film Bonding technology.

The 1.1-inch LED display has a contrast ratio of 5000:1. It features the world’s first 65-micrometer pitch between LED chips. OKI plans to ship samples next year.
