BestBuy releases Rocketfish WirelessHD Adapter

BestBuy rolls out its Rocketfish WirelessHD Adapter (model RF-WHD100), a wireless kit that provides consumers with the freedom and flexibility to place their HDTV anywhere in their room without unsightly cables.
The Rocketfish WirelessHD kit includes the Wireless HD transmitter, WirelessHD receiver, two four-foot HDMI cables, two AC Adapters, and two mounting brackets. The adapter operates in the open and interference-free 60GHz radio band and is able to send 1080p/60fps Full HD content wirelessly up to 10 meters.
The Rocketfish WirelessHD kit supports Deep Color, 7.1 surround sound, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Audio and is compatible with HDMI CEC control functionality. BestBuy’s Rocketfish WirelessHD Adapter is priced at $599.99, which is cheaper than Philips Wireless HDTV Link and Sony’s DMX-WL1 that perform same function.
