Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 USB 3.0 Hard Drive Reviewed

Buffalo’s DriveStation HD-HXU3 is one of the first USB 3.0 SuperSpeed external hard drive. It is available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities and is backward compatible with USB 2.0.
This new USB 3.0 hard drive has been reviewed by TweakTown, and gets an overall raing of 93% and the MUST HAVE – Best Features Award.
The Buffalo HD-HXU3 is constructed very well, much better than any of the enclosures that are sold without a drive that I have tested. Their implementation of USB 3.0 works very well and we didn’t experience any issues with the unit at all. When it comes to cost, the MSRP looks a little steep.
