Creative Zii TRINITY Smartphone Plarform for Android and Plaszma

Creative’s ZiiLABS announced the Zii TRINITY, a complete 3.5G/4G smartphone and development platform supproting both Android and the Linux-based Plaszma OS; and the StemCell ZMS-05 and ZMS-08 media-rich applications processors.
The Zii TRINITY phone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band WCDMA/HSDPA 7.2Mbps 3.5G networks. It has a 3.1-inch 480×800 OLED display with capacitive multitouch, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, VGA front camera for video call, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS receiver, microSD card slot and micro USB 2.0 port. The TRINITY includes Xtreme Fidelity X-Fi audio technology and Accelerated OpenGL ES 3D Graphics, Video and Imaging as well. It offers also mini HDMI port.
Creative will release the Zii TRINITY as the Zii Development Kit ’3G Phone Edition’ for developers. The kit will support both ZMS-05 and the new ZMS-08 processors. Future version of the kit will include support for WiMAX and LTE 4G networks.
