I unplugged it and set it down for awhile, thinking I would call and get it sent back. In the meantime I wanted to play my ipod again so I put it back into place, in the moving of it, I must’ve jogged the CD and it ejected fine. However, it made me wonder, if it happened again, how would I get it out? So I am very careful in how I put CD’s in, making sure I let the internal mechanism grab it, and that I don’t push it in too far. I don’t know what to recommend. It’s great in so many ways, but I don’t like this aspect and I think the fact that it’s not a well known name brand makes me unsure how well I would get service if it happens again… so that’s where I stand with it. It was a gift, but in the future I would probably purchase from a well known company like Sony or Panasonic etc.
I have the same problem, the CD is stuck and I’m prompted to “OPEN” the eject system does not work and there is nothing about this in the troubleshooting section. How do we get help with this?
I was thinking of buying the Brookstone system and am wondering if you ever got the problem resolved? Would you recommend buying this system? Thanks!
