OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini External Hard Drives

OWC (Other World Computing) launches the compact version of its Mercury Elite-AL Pro, called the Elite-AL Pro mini. The series includes a bunch of external hard drives running at 5400RPM or 7200RPM and a SSD model.

The Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini offers quad-interface, FireWire 800/400, USB 2.0, and eSATA for flexible connectivity, and supports up to 300MB/s transfer speed. Consumers can get 5400RPM models in 320GB, 500GB and 750GB capacities with 8MB cache or 7200RPM models in 320GB and 500GB with 16MB cache. There is also a SSD model with 256MB capacity and 64MB cache. The prices range from $139.99 to $819.99.
As an alternative, you can get the Enclosure kit to add your own 2.5-inch drive. The kit is priced at $89.99 or $97.99 with software.
