Seagate Momentus Thin is the Thinnest 2.5-inch Hard Drive

Seagate announced the Momentus Thin, the thinnest 2.5-inch hard disk drive. At just 7mm in height, the Momentus Thin is designed for ultra-portable and entry-level laptops, high-end netbooks, backup devices and consumer electronics.
Seagate’s Momentus Thin will be available in 160GB and 250GB capacities. It features 8MB cache, 5400RPM spin speed and a SATA 3Gb/s interface. It will be shipoed to Seagate’s OEM and integrator partners in January 2010.
