HP BD-2000 Blu-ray Player

HP releases the BD-2000 Blu-Ray Disc player in Canada. The BD-2000 supports Blu-ray 2.0 Profile offering BD-Live and BonusView. It provides Full HD 1080p output and DVD 1080p upconversion. HP’s Blu-ray player is able to decode Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD abd DTS 2.0.

The HP BD-2000 features Ethernet networking and a USB 2.0 port for media playback and firmware update. Other than HDMI output, composite, component video outputs are also available. The player is available for CA$139.99.

    Yea so ive owned my Hp blu disc player for awhile seems to be fine works well no problems. I am now using external Hard drive for media. I am having a problem reading avi files wmv files seem to be the only file to work well. Anyone know a site er if there is a patch i can get for my machine? thnx for the help if any comes =)

    anyway i bought a refurbished hp-2000 blu ray player and got it on tigerdirect for $89.99 retai l$169 but got it home and had froze and froze and had to unplg and had a bad time with it and it was just in 4 days .i think mine was deffective but still had to retun it and had to pay to send it back so such a big loss on me i could have bought a new one for much better price.so it did get to see 2 blu ray movies looked very nice but still not perfect even after update filmware .:(

    For $99.99 you will be hard pressed to find another player that has all the features that this one does.

    Its a budget unit, but the best of the budget units.

    The blue ray in the computer I just bought did not work. Turns out it is not designed to work. I wouldnt buy a thing from these idiots, let alone a blue ray player.
