Motorola is planning three Android smartphones for China market, one for each of the three carriers in China. All these phones supports 3G network and runs the Android OS.
First of all, the MT710 is a OPhone device for China Mobile. Obviously it supports world’s biggest carrier’s TD-SCDMA 3G network. It runs the Android-based OPhone platform. The MT710 features a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for video call and integrated CMMB mobile TV tuner.
The Motorola XT701, which is also called the Sholes Tablet, is for China Unicom. It works on WCDMA/HSPA networks. The XT701 is boosted by a Cortex A8 processor, like the Droid/Milestone.
Lastly, the Motorola XT800 (aka Zeppelin) is a device that looks like Dell’s Mini 3i. It is designed for China Telecom and supports dual-mode GSM and EV-DO network.
All three Android devices feature 3.7-inch 854×480 touchscreen, a 5 Megpaixel camera with flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS support and microSD/SDHC card slot.
