Following Sanyo’s offering, another Japanese company NEC announced the NP216J-3D, a 3D-enabled DLP projector. Supporting NVIDIA’s 3D Vision, NEC’s new projector comes with a pair of 3D glasses.
The NEC NP216J-3D features 1024×768 resolution, 2500 lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 180W lamp. It offers two D-sub, S-video and RCA inputs and Ethernet LAN port. There is a 7W speaker. NEC NP216J-3D is priced at about 100,000 Yen.
NEC also announced the NP2200J and NP1200J models, which are Japanese version of NP2200 and NP1200. Both of them have 1024×768 resolution and offer 4200 lumens and 3700 lumens respectively.
