Thanko HDPLAY90 HDD Media Player

Thank launches a 2.5-inch/3.5-inch HDD media player (model HDPLAY90) that basically docks your 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA hard drive and does media playback. The player features HDMI output as well as composite, component, S-video and VGA (via adapter) outputs.

Simply dock your hard drive and the video cradle will play media files from the drive. It supports both FAT32 and NTFS file systems. Other than hard drive, Thanko’s HDPLAY90 supports SDHC cards and offers a USB Host port. It supports DivX, XviD, MPEG-4, VCD, MP3, JPEG files. A remote control is included.

The Thanko HDPLAY90 is priced at 6980 Yen.
