Iomega iConnect Wireless Data Station Brings USB Storage into Network

Iomega introduces the iConnect Wireless Data Station, which is basically a USB-to-NAS/USB-to-LAN adapter that brings your USB storage devices, such as USB hard drive, USB flash drive, into network. The iConnect offers four USB 2.0 ports and connects you home network via Ethernet or WiFi 802.11b/g/n.

Other than USB storage, the iConnect does also printer sharing on your network. It supports Apple’s Time Machine and is UPnP, DLNA Certified as well as CIFS/SMB/Rally (Microsoft), AFP/Bonjour (Apple), HTTP, HTTPS network file protocols.

The Iomega iConnect is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Linux PCs. It will available worldwide starting in February for $99.99.

    I would definitely be interested in this product, would like to know if it would work with 1 multifunction printer. And how well it copes with data transfer between multiconnected USB hard drives
