Buffalo launches at the CES 2010 its TeraStation III WSS network attached storage solution. This new TeraStation is based on x86 platform and uses Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 Express Edition. It features four quick-swap SATA hard drives and redundant RAID technology and comes with native Active Directory support.
The TeraStation III WSS is available in 2TB (WS-Q2.0TL/R5) and 4TB (WS-Q4.0TL/R5), which are priced at $1599 and $1999 respectively.
Really awesome product…WE have a SBS2003 network with 16 XP SP3 clients and a Windows Server 2003 standard edition for our business software. staff were using a lot of space on the server so got one of these. It integrated seemlessly and works with active directory. comes highly recommended. My only problem is that in Australia we had no distributor , so imported it from the states …Well worth the effort… 8 out of 10 for this product
