PhotoFast G-Monster2 SFV1 2.5-inch SSD

PhotoFast launches in Japan the new G-Monster2 SFV1 series 2.5-inch Solid State Drive. The new line of SSD uses SATA 2 interface and comes in 2.5-inch form factor. Based on MLC flash memory, the G-Monster2 SFV1 is available in 50GB, 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities and offers up to 260MB read speed and 160MB/s write speed.
The G-Monster2 SFV1 has an estimated mean time before failure (MTBS) of over one million hours.

We actually got curious about the OCZ vertex 2, but after a few bad experiences with OCZ in the past got ourselves 4 x Photofast SVF1 100GB SSDs which also feature Sandforce SF1200 controllers from this european company:

The drive worked in RAID 0 on a Promise EX8650 Raid card for 1 week without any signs of problems and they still work perfectly.
I assume that Vertex 2 will get close to these performance figures as well.
4 x Photofast SVF1 drive got:
836 MB/s seq read (ATTO benchmark)
836 MB/s seq write (ATTO benchmark)
87 MB/s random 4k block read
107 MB/s random 4k block write
Quite impressive, now try to beat that with 4 x HDDs
