Asus DR-950 e-book reader

Asus UK shows serveral live shots of the DR-950 e-book reader at its Flickr page. The DR-950 features a 9-inch e-paper display with 1024×768 resolution and 2GB or 4GB internal memory. It supports PDF, TXT, ePub, HTML documents formats, JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP images and Audible, MP3 audio files.

The Asus DR-950 has a SD card slot for expansion. It has integrated RSS reader and offers translation and text to speech functions. The reader may even include WiFi, HSDPA, WiMAX connectivity. There is a USB port for connecting PC and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In fact, the DR-950 is not Asus’ first e-book reader, there is also 6-inch DR-570 with color OLED display.
