Samsung EcoGreen F3EG Eco-friendly Hard Drive

Samsung announced a new environmentally-friendly hard drive, the EcoGreen F3EG with up to 2TB capacity with 500GB per disk. The F3EG uses 3.0Gbps SATA interface and features 16/32MB buffer memory, SilentSeek and NoiseGuard low noise operation technology and Native Command Queuing.
Like its predecessor F2EG, the EcoGreen F3EG utilizes the EcoTriangle technology to provide eco-friendly components, low-power and low-noise operation. The 3.5-inch eco hard drive will be available in 1.5TB and 2TB capacities and starts at $179.99.
