Sony Ericsson officially announced the Aspen (aka Faith) smartphone that is the first device to run Microsoft’s newest Windows Mobile 6.5.3. The Aspen is the latest addition to the company’s GreenHeart portfolio. It has a candy-bar style with human curvature design and features QWERTY keyboard.
The Sony Ericsson Aspen sports a 2.4-inch 240×320 LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, Bluetooth, A-GPS with Google Maps, and WiFi connectivity. The phone includes social network tool offering access to Twitter, YouTube, Windows Live, facebook..etc. The Aspen comes with also SPB Mobile Shell 3.0.
This new Windows phone has microSD card slot and 3.5mm jack. It comes with HPM-60J GreenHeart Stereo portable handsfree. Quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSPA networks are all supported. The Aspen comes in Iconic Black and White Silver and will be released in Q2 2010.
