WD SiliconDrive N1x SSD based on SLC NAND Flash

WD (Western Digital) ships its new SiliconDrive N1x series 2.5-inch SSD (solid state drive) that is based on single-level cell (SLC) NAND flash memory. The new N1x series uses the SATA 3Gb/s interface and offers up to 240MB/s read speed and 150GB write transfer rate.

The SiliconDrive N1x comes in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB densities. It features Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and Windows 7 TRIM command support, like many newly introduced SSDs.
