Novothink Solar Surge hybrid solar charger case for iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod touch

Novothink launches the Solar Surge series hybrid solar charger case for iPhone 3G and 3GS and iPod touch. The Surge is a backup battery that combines solar panel with a lithium ion battery into a soft touch, non-slip finish case.
Surge for iPhone 3G/3GS has integrated 1320mAh lithium-ion polymer battery while the iPod touch version gets 1500mAh. The former provides about 30 minutes of talk time on a 3G network or 60 minutes on 2G from a mere 2 hours of direct sunlight. A USB 2.0 cable is also included for chagring and data sync.
Novothink’s Solar Surge has four built-in LED indicators and the company has developed a free Solar Planner App that provides an estimate of how much sun exposure is necessary to maintain the battery level of your iPod Touch or iPhone based on your everyday usage and the current weather forecast. iPhone version costs $79.95 and iPod touch version is priced at $69.96. The Sunblazer by Genesis Electronics will be coming out shoertly and is a superior product. They will offer two models and will also be available for other cell phones. Furthermore, Novothink is possibly in a patent violation as Genesis has the only patents for this charging technology. Don’t spend that money yet Novothink. You could end up owing Genesis alot of money.
