Canon announced six new LCD multimedia projectors, expanding its affordable LV-series. The LV-8310 and LV-8215 both have 1280×800 native 16:10 widescreen resolution while the LV-7385, LV-7380, LV-7285 and LV-7280 are able to project 1024×768 images.
As for the brightness, the LV-7385 has 3500 lumens; the LV-8310 and LV-7380 have 3000 lumens, the LV-8215 and LV-7285 offers 2600 lumens; and the LV-7280 provides 2200 lumens. All these Canon LCD projectors feature the Improved Lamp Lighting System, Carbon Reduction Meter, Auto Energy Saver and Power-Saving Stand-By Mode, all included to help reduce power consumption and CO2 emissions.
Canon‘s projectors have DVI-I input with HDCP as well as built-in RJ-45 Ethernet port and RS-232 connector. The LV-8310 and LV-8215 are priced at $1199 and $1099 respectively, while the LV-7385, LV-7380, LV-7285 and LV-7280 LCD Multimedia Projectors will be $1,699, $999, $899, and $799, respectively.
