Cisco Valet Wireless Routers with Flip’s simplicity-in-design

Cisco announced its new Valet wireless routers that combines easy home wireless networking with Flip’s simplicity-in-design. The Valet routers support WiFi 802.11n standard and are also compatible with 802.11b/g. They have internal antennas.

There are two models, the Valet (M10) for small to medium-sized homes and the Valet Plus (M20) for bigger homes. The former has four 10/100 Ethernet ports while the latter gets four Gigabit LAN ports. Cisco also launches the Valet Connector (AM10) USB WiFi adapter that adds WiFi capability to older computers.

All these Valet products come with the USB Easy Setup Key, which is loaded with Cisco Connect software for PC and Mac for easy wireless network setup. They are now available at Amazon.com:

    I am having troubles connecting with my Valet at home on my Lenova laptop. This system recognizes that the wifi exists, it just will not log on without a password. The password I thought we installed doesn’t work. Can someone get the password verification information to me?

    I have two computers and one monitor. My main computer is hooked to a ethernet cable into our building that has free internet. I purchased the Cisco Valet PLus but not sure purchase the connector also? My computers are not laptops.
