Shuttle launches in the US its J1 4100 series small form factor (SFF) PC based on Intel G41 Express Chipset. Supporting Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processors, three models are available including the J1 4100 for everyday computing and home entertainment, the J1 4100G ready for casual gaming and the J1 4100P for day-to-day professional use.
All models sport Intel GMA X4100 onboard graphics. The J1 4100 can get four dedicated graphics card options, up to 512MB GeForce GT240 while the J1 4100G can be equipped with GT240 with HDMI port. The J1 4100P, instead, gets optional NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 graphics card.
The Shuttle J1 4100 series gets up to 8GB of RAM, up to 2TB of hard drive, 22x SuperMulti burner and optional Blu-ray combo drive. WIFi is also supported alongside Ethernet LAN. They all have a PCI-E x16 and a PCI expansion slots. This entry-level J1 4100 series stats at $799.
