AMD Phenom II X6 6-Core CPU Announced

AMD made its Phenom II X6 series hexacore processors official including the flagship Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition processor, AMD’s fastest and most tunable desktop processor ever. The new X6 features the new Turbo CORE technology that that transfers performance to three dedicated cores operating at higher frequency.
The Phenom II X6 with existing AM3 and AM2+ socket motherboards. It has 3MB L2 ache and 6MB L3 cache. Also introduced is the AMD 890FX chipset, which include SATA 6Gb/s interface, Gigabit Ethernet, HyperTransport 3.0 technology, PCI Express 2.0 and SuperSpeed USB 3.0.
