HTC launches in Asia and Europe a mobile phone that runs Qualcomm’s Brew MP platform, called the Smart (aka Touch.B). Hardly a smartphone, the Smart is a basic mobile phone with touchscreen. It includes HTC Sense UI.
Powered by a 300MHz processor, the compact Smart has 256MB ROM and 256MB RAM. It comes with a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen with QVGA resolution and a 3 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording. It features Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, support for HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE, a microSD card slot and built-in music and video player. WiFi is not supported, however.
HTC Smart is available in pink, white and black.
