    MSI notebooks are great except:

    1) 1366×768. Initially looking at the 1366, its seems plenty, but looking closer at the 768, you’ll find that when doing things like web surfing, it just doesn’t cut it. You’re constantly hitting the scroll down button. Just go to Google and compare with other laptops and desktops which can display at least 800 going down and see where the search box is even before seeing any search results.

    2) The keyboard on most MSIs is annoying in the way that the Home and End key require pressing of the function key. As they are common keys to be pressed. Also the back space and the return and shift are shorter. Whilst part of this is because wide-screens have plenty of space and therefore the numeric keyboard has been added, this causes problems with the usability of the main keyboard when common key presses are then mispressed or require the function key to be pressed also. Little finger on the right-shift and enter key needs training now!

For a gaming laptop, needing to go to higher resolution by plugging in external monitor and for faster keyboard use needing external keyboard makes this laptop less desirable.
