Sanyo announced its new PDG-DWL2500J 3D-ready ultra short-focus projector that supports Frame Sequential Display Format for viewing 3D images when wearing 3D glassess. Based on DLP 1-Chip system, the PDG-DWL2500J features 1280×800 resolution, 2500 lumens brightness with a 275W light source, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 85% uniformity.
The Sanyo PDG-DWL2500J is able to produce a large 80-inch image at the world’s shortest projection distance of about 32cm. Sanyo also brings a new compact design for saving users’ space. The PDG-DWL2500J has D-sub, HDMI 1.3, RCA inputs and a wired Ethernet LAN. It will be released in July 2010.
