Buffalo BR3D-12U3
Buffalo announced in Japan the BR3D-12U3 Blu-ray 3D-capable burner that uses USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface. The BR3D-12U3 supports playback of Blu-ray 3D media and is capable of DVD 2D-to-3D conversion using the bundled CyberLink PowerDVD 9 software.
Buffalo BR3D-12FBS-BK
Buffalo BR3D-12U3 writes BD-R SL/DL at 12X, BD-RE a 2x, DVD+/-R at 16x, DVD+/-R DL at 8X, DVD-RAM at 5x and CD-R/RW at up to 40x. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface. Buffalo will also release the BR3D-12FBS-BK, internal version using the SATA interface.
The Buffalo BR3D-12U3 and BR3D-12FBS-BK will come in mid-June for 39,100 and 28,500 Yen respectively.
