WD My Book Studio LX External HDD for Mac

Western Digital (WD) announced the new My Book Studio LX external hard drive for Mac, which comes with an aluminum casing to match the aesthetics of Mac computers. Like the original My Book Studio, the new LX features a e-label display and FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 interface.
The My Book Studio LX is compatible with Apple Time Machine. It supports 56-bit hardware-based encryption and password protection to secure your data. The hard drive is HFS + Journaled formatted and is plug-and-play ready for Mac users.
WD’s My Book Studio LX is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities that are available at $156.80 and $219.52 at Amazon.com, respectively.
