Newsmy launches the new E-Read 5102 5-inch e-book reading device. Unlike the company’s C66 with LCD screen, the 5102 uses the real e-ink display with 800×600 resolution. It supports TXT, DOC, HTM, HTML, PDF and CHM document files and supports JPEG and BMP viewing and playback of MP3, WMA audio.

The E-Read 5102 has a microSD card slot and USB 2.0 connector. The price is 988 Chinese Yuan (US$146).
