Sony announced in Europe two new digital cameras, the Cyber-Shot DSC-WX5 and Cyber-Shot DSC-TX9 both with 1080i Full HD movie recording and the 3D Sweep Panorama function that “lets you shoot incredible 3D images without needing a bulky, complex double-lens camera system.”
The new WX5 and TX9 both feature 12.2 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS image sensor, BIONZ image processor, ISO up to 3200 and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization. They sport the new Sweep Multi Angle that shoots a high-speed burst of fifteen frames, creating a ‘3D-style’ image of your subject that can be viewed from different angles. These two Cyber-shot cameras are capable of recording 1920×1080/50i Full HD video in MPEG-4 AVCHD H.264 video format. Sony‘s Cyber-Shot WX5 comes with a 5x optical zoom Sony G lens and a 2.8-inch LCD display while the TX9 gets a 4x optical zoom Carl Zeiss lens and a 3.5-inch display.
Sony also introduce the 14 Megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-T99 camera with 4x zoom Carl Zeiss lens, BIONZ processor, 3200 ISO, 3-inch display, Optical SteadyShot and 720p HD video recording. We can expect these three camera in September.
