Sony SCD-XE800 SACD Player

Sony announced a new Super Audio CD player, the SCD-XE800, in Japan, which is set for August launch. The player features Multilevel SADAC and VC24 Plus Digital Filter. It supports playback of SACDs, CDs, CD-R/RW as well as Direct Stream Digital Discs.
The Sony SCD-XE800 offers digital output, coaxial output as well as analog out. It will be released in Japan in August for 37800 Yen.

I had Sony’s first SACD entry level player and it croaked right after the five year warranty period expired. I’ll stick with Oppo’s BDP-83 that plays almost every disc and Oppo has real customer service.
