Epson announced two new all-in-one printers, the Artisan 835 and Artisan 725. Both of them are wireless printers with support for WiFi 802.11n connectivity as well as Ethernet networking.
The flagship Artisan 835 features a 7.8-inch smart touch panel, a 3.5-inch color LCD, built-in fax, and a 30-page Automatic Document Feeder to quickly copy and fax documents, while the Artisan 725 features an enhanced touch panel for easier navigation. They both have SD/MS/CF card slots for printing directly from memory cards and offers the world’s fastest 4×6-inch photo print speeds. These WiFi AIO printers also support wireless printing from iPhone.
Both Artisan printers use Epson’s six-color Ultra Hi-Definition Claria ink and MicroPiezo print head with DX5 technology . They feature built-in Auto Photo Correction to automatically evaluate and correct images and red eye, support for PictBridge for printing directly from digital cameras, mobile phones and USB Flash drives. The included Epson Print CD software allows users to print images and text directly onto ink jet printable CDs/DVDs easily.
Epson’s Artisan 835 is available for $299.99 and the Artisan 725 for $199.99.
