MSI introduces its all-new GX660 and GX660R gaming notebook PCs. These two notebooks are almost identical, except that the GX660R supports RAID 0 two disk architecture, doubling memory storage capacity to 1TB and increasing read speed by 70% instantly.
MSI’s GX660/GX660R are powered by choice of Intel’s Core i7 processors, up to 12GB DDR3 memory, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 1GB graphics card. They both feature TDE (Turbo Drive Engine) technology that throttle up system performance with just one touch of the luminescent Turbo hotkey located above the keyboard, increasing system speed by 83%, while keeping your system from bogging down when you’re using load-intensive applications. The Cooler Boost technology is also included and there is a hotkey for cooling.
The GX660 and GX660R have a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with optional Full HD resolution; and HDMI output. They come with Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, HD webcam, 2 theater-class speakers with subwoofer, 4-in-1 card reader, eSATA port and two USB 3.0 ports for faster data transfer.
