Sony introduces two new high-end headphones, the MDR-Z1000 and the in-ear MDR-EX1000. The former sports 50mm HD neodymium sound drivers while the latter gets 16mm drivers.
The Sony MDR-Z1000 is made for audiophiles. It features 5-80,000Hz frequency response, 24ohm impedance, 108dB/mW sensitivity and a removable jack cable with 99.9% 7N OFC purity. It will be available in November for 61950 Yen (US$734).
Sony NUDE MDR-EX1000 in-ear headphones, on the other hand, boasts 108dB/mW sensitivity, 3-30,000Hz frequency response and 32ohm impedance. It comes with 7N-OFC cable as well. The EX1000 will be released in late October for 61950 Yen.
Sony also introduces serveral other new headphones, including MDR-ZX700 with 40mm drivers, MDR-ZX300 and MDR-ZX100 with 30mm drivers. As for in-ear models, you can find MDR-EX600 with 16mm drivers, and 13.5mm MDR-EX510SL,MDR-EX310SL.
