Toshiba BDX3100KB

Toshiba introduces the new BDX3100KB, its first Blu-ray player to support Blu-ray 3D movie playback. The new 3D player features Full HD 1920x1080p 3D output and supports Blu-ray playback at 24fps. It has 3D-capable HDMI port to output 3D content from Blu-ray 3D discs to a 3D capable TV.

Toshiba BDX1100KB

The Toshiba BDX3100KB can handle direct playback of AVCHD, MKV, DivX, HD-JPEG and MP3 media files from USB external storage devices.

Also announced is the BDX1100KB Blu-ray player. Both the 3D-capable BDX3100KB and BDX1100KB feature 1080p upscaling, support for BD-Live, support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio | Essential digital audio codecs. Deep Color, Bonus View and REGZA-Link. The BDX3100KB has a black ‘crystal cut’ design, while the BDX3100KB comes in stylish black finish.

The BDX3100KB and BDX1100KB will be released in the UK in October.
