Pentax Optio NB1000 Customizable with “Lego”

Other than the Optio RS1000 with removable faceplates, Pentax also announced in Japan the Optio NB1000 that is customizable using “Lego” bricks. Actually, those are not Lego but nanoblock by Japanese firm Kawada diablock.
Consumers can personalized their NB1000 using nanoblocks, creating their unique cameras. As for specs and features, the NB1000 is identical to the RS1000 featuring 14 Megapixel imager, 4x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD display, Face Detection, Digital Shake Reduction and 720p HD video recording.
The Pentax Optio NB1000 will be released in Japan soon. It will come in Safari and Monotone versions.
