T-Mobile G2 by HTC Android Smartphone now Official

T-Mobile USA officially announced the T-Mobile G2 by HTC (aka HTC Vision), which is the first smartphone specifically designed for T-Mobile’s new HSPA+ network. Like the G1, the first Android phone, the new G2 is a slider with side-slide full QWERTY keyboard. Of course, the G2 gets a better look and more advanced features than the G1.
Powered by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon MSM7230 800 processor, the G2 runs the Android 2.2 OS. It includes HSPA+ capabilities and supports 720p HD video recording with its 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash. The phone has a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen, 8GB preinstalled 8GB microSD card, Bluetooth, WiFi and 3.5mm jack.
The T-Mobile G2 comes with full suite of Google applications, including Google Voice, Google Voice Action, Google Maps with Places and Navigation, Googel Earth and of course Android market. The phone also packs Swype text input method and Adobe Flash Player. The G2 will be released later this month.

good review. great phone. love my new unlocked cell phones. g2 has a faster processor, it’s easy to navigate. just picked up a couple for my vaction over in paris and we love them! talk about fun phones. love the flip out keyboard, so practical and is easy for typing. also the touch screen is responsive and not flaky like old unlocked verizon phones. also got my htc unlock codes and cell phone unlock codes for free! the facebook and games are fun and keep my wife busy and the web browser wifi and gps are great for my business and helping us get around because were terrible at directions. very happy. got our last couple unlocked t-mobile phones at unlockthatphone.com 2 thumbs way up for the new g2.
