Pioneer introduces the S-DJ08 and S-DJ05, its first line of active reference monitoring speakers, designed for DJing and music production. These bi-amp 2-way powered speakers both have 2.5cm soft dome tweeter. The S-DJ08 comes with 8-inch woofer while the S-DJ05 has 5-inch woofer.
The Pioneer S-DJ08 is also equipped with strong 10 cm high-force magnets for better control of the subwoofers. Both speakers sport low resonance chimney-style heat sink and a bi-amp circuit that drives the tweeter and woofer separately. They offer XLR, TRS and two sets of RCA inputs for users to connect several devices at the same time.
Pioneer S-DJ08 and S-DJ05 will be released in January 2011 for $1,199/pair and $899/pair, respectively.

these are really not that impressive….for the price for the S-DJ08 id rather get the genelec 6010A’s for about a lil cheaper but instead genelec is an industry standard monitor and Pioneer’s would be second grade in my book…however im not knocking other pioneer products…just these dont fit what im looking for as far as Free field frequency response goes
