FujiFilm FinePix X100 Camera with Hybrid Viewfinder

FujiFilm announced its new FinePix X100 retro-style digital camera, designed to be a slim, compact second camera for DSLR users. Though the X100 does look like FujiFilm’s weapon against mirrorless cameras such as Sony NEX and Micro Four Thirds, the X100 is an interchangeable lens camera system.

TravelTeq Trip Sound Luggage with built-in Speaker System

A company called TravelTeq launches the Trip Sound luggage that comes with built-in digital speaker system. The Trip Sound has a strong box structure that supports up to 150 kg and its sides are made of special aluminum sandwich panels with an ABS-PC honeycomb structure center. It offers a seat area that is reinforced with an aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel (commonly used in aerospace technology). The luggage also has automatic, gas spring-operated unfolding legs, for a stable footprint.

If Harman Kardon’s GLA-55 is not your cup of tea, look at Greensound Technology’s Serac series and Flow series glass speakers. Unlike traditional speaker technology that may simply include a glass enclosure, Greensound’s speaker projects sound through glass and deliver 360-degree sound. A sound generator in the base of the Greensound speakers vibrates the glass to project the sound and different areas of the glass are responsible for producing different frequency sounds – the curved area at the top produces high frequency sounds, the middle produces mid-range sounds, while low frequencies are produced by the area at the bottom near the base.
