Blue Microphone Mikey for Flip

While Scosche has the freedomMIC, Blue Microphone brings it Mikey, part of Designed for Flip accessory line, for Flip’s FlipPort-enabled camcorders, such as the UltraHD 2HR. The Mikey features two of Blue’s custom-tuned condenser capsules for professional-quality stereo recording and offers ‘Loud’ or ‘Automatic’ sensitivity settings.
The Mikey also provides a mic input jack for plugging additional microphones. THere is also built-in tripod mount. Mikey for Flip is plug-and-play with automatic power-on. It uses a AAA battery. The price is $69.

I may sound too ignorant but isn’t $69 too expensive for this kind of gadget. Well I guess I haven’t heard of Blue Microphones before. Hopefully they create one that is rechargeable via USB connection.
