Aperion Audio announced the Verus Grand series home theater speakers, including the Verus Grand Tower, Verus Grand Center and the Verus Grand Bookshelf. All of them feature Aperion’s Axially Stabilized Radiator silk dome tweeter, which takes the burden of reproducing upper-mid frequencies off the mid-range driver.
The Grand Tower has two 5-inch woven Kevlar mid-range drivers with aluminum phase plugs and two 6-inch woven Kevlar woofers with butyl rubber surrounds. It has a 3-way bass reflex design. The price is $1798 per pair.
The Verus Grand Center is obviously a center channel speaker. It features one 4-inch Woven Kevlar Mid-range driver, two 6-inch Woven Kevlar Woofers, a 3-Way, sealed enclosure design and VoiceRight phase correction switch for bass optimization. The price is $699.
Lastly, the Verus Grand Bookshelf comes with a 2-way bass reflex design and packs one 5-inch woven Kevlar min-range driver. The bookshelf speaker is priced at $598 per pair.
These Verus Grand speakers all come with furniture-grade gloss cherry wood veneer or gloss piano black finish. These speakers form a 5.0-channel home theater system and users may want to add the Aperion Bravus subwoofer to make it 5.1.
