Giffin launches the new iTrip DualConnect FM transmitter with a plug for your car’s 12 volt power outlet. The device offers two ways to play music, either use the FM transmitter to send the music wirelessly to your car radio, or connect your iPhone or iPod touch through iTrip directly to your car stereo. It also offers an integrated cable that plugs into the dock connector of your iPhone or iPod touch for charging.
The iTrip DualConnect is designed to use with the free iTrip controller app that provides SmartScan one-button easy setup. It has Play/Pause/Forward/Backward buttons giving you fingertip control while driving. The new iTrip DualConnect is priced at $59.99.
Can the iTrip DualConnect be used with two different devices at the same time? For example, I connect my iphone through the dock connector and the AUX cable is connected to an iPod. Would the iPod be able to play the music or does the AUX cable have to be connected to the iphone?
