T-Mobile Comet Affordable Android Phone for just US$9.99

T-Mobile launches the new Comet affordable Android mobile phone that is priced at just $9.99, with a 2-year contract after $50 rebate. The Comet is just a T-Mobile-branded Huawei IDEOS. With such as low price, you won’t expect the latest and fastest specs, though it still packs a 528MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM.
The Comet has a 2.8-inch touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, GPS/AGPS support, FM radio, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The phone runs the latest Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
Alongside the Comet, T-Mobile is also launching the LG Optimus T and the rugged Motorola DEFY Android phones.
