Projector maker Optoma is launching the Neo-i, which is probably the first pico projector with integrated iPhone/iPod dock speaker system. The Neo-i docks, plays and charges iPod or iPhone. It features a 16-watt speaker system.
The Optoma Neo-i offers 854×480 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 50 ANSI lumens brightness. Not only does it projector content on the iPod/iPhone, the device offers HDMI, VGA, A/V inputs for connecting other video sources. It has a backlit control panel and comes with an IR remote control.
The Optoma Neo-i iPhone speaker/pico projector combo will be available in Mid-December for $449.
