Plextor PX-LB950SA 12x Blu-ray Writer

Plextor releases a new internal 12x Blu-ray disc burner, the PX-LB950SA with 3D Blu-ray support. The writer can burn BD-R single layer at 12x, writing 25GB data is just 12 minutes. It also writes BD-R DL at 8x, BD-RE/BD-RE DL at 2x as well as DVD+/-R at 16X and DVD+/-RW/DL at up to 8x, DVD-RAM at 12x and CD-R/RW at up to 48x.
The Plextor PX-LB950SA has 8MB buffer memory and uses SATA interface. It supports 3D Blu-ray playback and LightScribe direct disc labeling. The drive also comes with PowerDVD9 BD Suite for Blu-ray playback and recording. Plextor PX-LB950SA will be released in Europe in November for Euro 179.
